More safety in the 2019 Nissan Murano
The 2019 Nissan Murano has always been an innovative mid-size SUV. Since its debut, when it stood out with its unique design, the new Murano has become more than just a vehicle that gets noticed on the road. For 2019, the new Murano will have an enhanced look with more aggressive features thanks to the addition of a V-Motion grille that gives the Murano an excellent road presence.
The third-generation Nissan Murano also gets an improved list of safety features with the addition of Nissan Safety Shield 360.
This system offers a wide range of advanced active safety and driver assistance technologies, including Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Intelligent Rear Emergency Braking.
Other advanced active safety features present on the 2019 Nissan Murano include Nissan's unique Rear Door Alert system that prompts the driver to check the rear seats before exiting.
The 2019 Nissan Murano is powered by a 260-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with an Xtronic continuously variable automatic transmission. This transmission offers both comfort and fuel economy.
NissanConnect, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features are also standard on the new Nissan Murano.
"The first generation Nissan Murano had a profound impact on the SUV market when it was introduced in 2003. As a pioneer in the SUV trend, it offered a forward-thinking design sensibility that combined sleek styling with premium features without a luxury price tag," said Steve Rhind, director of marketing, Nissan Canada Inc.
